Warped up, ridiculous house

Recently there has been quite a few tracks out there that follow a predominant feature - absolutely insane high pitched synth lines mixed with Dancehall, almost Jungle like sounding accompanments. The overused electro house style has been overridden for more experimental themes.

Brodinski is a French producer and his track "Peanuts club" is definitive of this style. The lead has a mind of its own, pulsating through the track. It creates an almost comical, cheeky feel to the track; you can see the monkeys jumping in his head when he produced this.

The hit track "Riverside" by Sidney Samson, is a dance floor destroyer. While I was in Budapest I saw the place explode when this track was dropped.

Major Lazer consists of a collaboration two huge electro artists; Diplo and Switch. There album "Guns don't kill people lazers do" has received critical acclaim. Its a concept album which focuses on a one armed Jamaican superhero who tries to save the world from vampires... apparently. What the album does do is deliver a masterpiece attempt at Jamaican Dancehall, with clear Reggae, RnB, Fidget and Electro influences. "Pon De Floor" is one of the albums more interesting tracks.

A Carnival like drum beat makes way for sliced up and warped vocals which form the centre of the track.
