(New) Burial

"One of the greatest artists of the decade" is back with new material. Anonymous South Londoner Will Bevan, or Burial has a new track called "Fostercare" which features on the new hyperdub compilation. What is so good about Burials tracks is that they can relate to actual situations. His tracks ooze a nostalgic sense to them which is completely phenomenal. The emotions really come though when listening to his work, creating urban landscapes as they pass.

He has a very interesting production method that creates this sound; Using vocals from other tracks and warping them up and down until they become genderless, sampling a lighter flicking on and the gun pellets from a video game, using them as drum patterns. Just some of the techniques he uses to create a completely unique sound.

Because of Burials notoriety, the record label have been censoring anything that pops up, so the nearest thing I have found to a release is from this blog. "Fostercare" is by no means his strongest track, but is still worth a listen.
